Today, I co-delivered a unique tutorial on U.S and global 5G and 6G spectrum challenges, in Washington DC. My co-speakers were veterans in all things spectrum: Charles Cooper (NTIA), Monisha Ghosh (former CTO FCC) and Ira Keltz (FCC).

Spectrum is the lifeblood of telecoms. If you work on 5G/6G (not only spectrum!) and are in industry, academia or government, you really should check out the tutorial slides “Riding the New Wave: Spectrum Strategies for the 5G and 6G Era”.

Anne, straight from the White House, was given a tough time on stage but she took it like a champion! Her views: cyber offense easier than defense; thus, lock digital doors in critical infra + bring industry communities together. Encrypted health data should be a no-brainer, right?

💡 Vinod Khosla: Free AI for all Americans – wow
Vinod’s throwing free AI healthcare parties and everyone’s invited! His vision? An AI doctor for all and AI tutor for every kid. Move over, human teachers? BTW, open-sourcing Llama was a bad idea.

👾 Steve Huffman: Finding the Middle Path
Steve’s in the Reddit driver’s seat, steering between open info highways and user safety guardrails. And he’s translating the Reddit universe into French and Spanish – au revoir language barriers!

🌍 Reid Hoffman: Real and AI-Fake Reid
Reid (founder LinkedIn) keeps it 100 with internet safety and AI’s open-source debates. His motto: Keep pedaling the innovation bike, but don’t forget to wear your helmet!

🎬 Brad Lightcap: AI in Hollywood
OpenAI got AI ready for its Hollywood close-up. Forget about AI taking our jobs; it’s here to direct blockbusters. Lights, camera, AI action!

🎮 Sarah Bond: Game On!
Sarah’s launching a mobile game store in July – cloud gaming’s getting hotter, and she’s serving up AAA games and of the year.

👦 Snap’s Evan Spiegel: The Kids are Alright
Evan’s keeping Snap snappy and safe for kids, proving tech giants can have a big heart too. Four boys at home? That’s the real leadership training ground!
